현지시간 8일, 인도 북동부 프라야그라지(Prayagraj)에 있는 의과 대학에서 COVID-19 백신 접종을 받기 위해 등록하고 있다. 인도 전역에 COVID-19가 급속하게 확산됨에 따라 인도 남부의 두 주가 가장 먼저 폐쇄를 선언하였다. 또한 인도 정부에게 국가 폐쇄를 추진하도록 압력을 가중하고 있다.
