Russian parilamentary elections is held on September 17-19, 2021. 

현재 러시아 하원 450석 중 대통령인 블라디미르 푸틴과 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있는 통합 러시아당이 343석을 차지하고 있다. 이는 개헌까지 밀어붙일 수 있는 수치이다.
Of the 450 seats in the Russian House of Representatives, the United Russian Party, which is closely related to President Vladimir Putin, currently occupies 343 seats. This is a figure that can carry out the constitutional amendment.

이번 선거에서도 통합 러시아당이 의석을 얼마나 차지할지가 사람들의 관심 대상이 되고 있다. 이번 의회의 활동 기간과 푸틴 대통령의 재선 시점이 겹치는 만큼 선거의 결과가 러시아 내 권력의 흐름에 영향을 미칠 수 있다.
People's attention is also being paid to how many seats the United Russian Party will take in this election. The outcome of the election could affect the flow of power in Russia as the parliamentary period overlaps with Putin's re-election.

최근 푸틴의 지지율이 61%로 나타나 2016년의 81%보다 떨어진 수치이고, 통합 러시아당의 지지율은 26%로 떨어지는 등 상황으로 여당의 상황이 쉽지만은 않을 것이라 전망된다.
United Russian party's situation is not expected to be easy due to Putin's recent approval rating of 61%, down from 81% in 2016, and the United Russian Party's approval rating falling to 26%.

일각에서는 푸틴 반대 시위를 열기도 했다. 이들은 지난 15일 수감된 나발니를 석방하고 푸틴을 감옥에 보내라는 문구가 적힌 슬로건을 들었다.
Some held protests against Putin. They held a slogan with the phrase "Free Navalny, Putin in jail."

알렉세이 나발니는 러시아의 주요 반정부 인사로, 러시아 정부의 부패와 푸틴을 비판하며 주목을 받았다. 나발니는 현재 감옥에 수감 중이며 그가 만든 반정부 조직은 해체되고 웹사이트는 폐쇄됐다.
Alexey Navalny is a major anti-government figure in Russia, drawing attention for criticizing Russian government corruption and Putin. He is currently in prison, and the anti-government organization he created has been disbanded and the website has been closed.

한편, 이번 선거는 코로나19를 이유로 기간이 사흘로 연장됐다. 투표소에 설치한 카메라도 사이버 공격 가능성을 이유로 제거됐다.
Meanwhile, the election was extended to three days because of COVID-19. Cameras installed at polling stations were also removed due to the possibility of cyberattacks.

이번 선거에서 푸틴과 통합 러시아당이 민심을 다시 잡을 수 있을지 기대해볼 만하겠다.
