[월드투데이 안나현 기자] 20년 만에 정권을 장악한 탈레반은 아프간의 음울한 과거를 되풀이한다.

Taliban, who seized power after 20 years, repeats the gloomy history of Afghanistan.

탈레반이 음악을 공식적으로 금지한 것은 아니지만, 검문소를 지날 때 음악을 끄고, 각종 행사에서 연주하던 음악가들은 생계 곤란에 처했다.

Although Taliban didn’t officially ban music, Taliban’s crews turned off music when they pass by the check point and musicians playing at various events are in trouble for a living. 

물라 누루딘 투라비는 1차 집권기 당시 탈레반 법무장관이다. 최근 인터뷰와 AP통신에 따르면 "공개적으로 하지는 않겠지만, 사형집행과 손발 절단형이 다시 적용될 것"이라고 예고했다.

He was Minister of Justice 20 years ago. According to AP and recent interview he foretold “not openly but they will apply the death penalty and Cutting hands. 

탈레반이 일부 대학교에 대해 남녀를 커튼으로 분리해 수업을 재개했으며, 중등학교(7-12학년)는 여학생에 대한 언급없이 남학생들을 위한 수업을 실시했다. 교사역시 남자만 학교로 돌아왔다.

Taliban resumed the class by separating men and women with curtain for some Universities and Secondary school conducted classes only for male students without mentioning female students. The teacher also returned to school only for men.

탈레반이 재집권한 후 아프간 수도 카불의 여성 공무원들에게 출근 금지령이 내려졌다. 이에 여성들의 인권 존둥을 요구하는 시위가 벌였으나 탈레반 조직원들은 여성 시위대를 채찍, 몽둥이로 폭력적 진압을 가했다.

After Taliban took power, female civil servants in Kabul were forbidden to attendance. In response, there was a demonstration asking for women’s respect for human rights, but Taliban members put prtesters down and violently suppressed them.

카불의 노래방에는 탈레반 대원들이 찾아와 아코디언을 부수고, 간판을 철거한 뒤손님들에게 당장 돌아가라 명령했다.

Taliban members came to karaoke in Kabul to destroy the accordion , broke signboards and ordered guests to go back.

내전 상황을 피해 고향을 등지고 많은 아프간인들이 카불의 한 공원에 마련된 임시 거처에서 생활하고 있다.

Many Afghans are living in temporary residences in a park in Kabul, to avoid civil war.
