[월드투데이 김나혜 기자] 28일 중국 광둥성 주하이 시에서 '주하이 에어쇼'라 불리는 중국 최대 에어쇼가 개최됐다.
China's largest air show called the "Zhuhai Airshow" was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China, on September 28.

에어쇼에서는 각종 항공기의 비행을 시연해 뛰어난 항공 기술을 뽐낸다. 또한 각 제품의 성능을 비교, 평가하며 판매를 목적으로 한 상담이 이루어지기도 한다.
At airshow, countries demonstrate the flight of various aircraft and show off excellent aviation skills. In addition, the performance of each product is compared and evaluated, and counseling is conducted for the purpose of sale.

주하이 에어쇼의 정식 명칭은 '중국국제항공우주박람회'이지만, 사람들에게는 개최 장소를 따서 주하이 에어쇼라는 명칭으로 더 잘 알려져 있다. 지난 1996년에 처음 시작되어 격년으로 개최되는 행사다.
The official name is "China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition," but it is better known to people as the "Zhuhai Airshow" after the venue. The show was first held in 1996 and is held every other year.

이번 에어쇼는 본래 지난 2020년 11월에 개최 예정이었으나, 코로나19로 연기되어 올해로 미뤄졌다. 28일부터 오는 10월 3일까지 열린다.
The airshow was originally scheduled to be held in November 2020, but was postponed to this year due to COVID-19. It will be held from September 28 to October 3.

중국은 이번 에어쇼에서 자국이 개발한 무기, 위성 등을 공개하며 저력을 과시할 것으로 보인다. 최첨단 군용기인 '20 시리즈' 'J-20', 'Y-20', 'Z-20'도 공개된다.
China is expected to show off its potential by unveiling weapons and satellites developed by the country itself at the airshow. The high-tech military aircraft '20 Series', 'J-20', 'Y-20', and 'Z-20' will also be unveiled.

이 밖에도, 중국이 최초로 선보이는 태양 탐사 위성 및 달 탐사 로켓 등이 공개될 예정이다. 28일 행사에서는 무인기인 '윙룽 Ⅱ(Wing Loong Ⅱ)'가 등장했다. 이 밖에도 수륙양용 항공기 'AG600', 스텔스 전투기 'J-20', 고등 훈련기 'JL-10', 'CBJ' 항공기 등이 모습을 드러냈다.
