Donetsk residents celebrate recognition of their independence by Russia.

21일(현지시간) 우크라이나 동부 도네츠크에서 친러 활동가들이 폭죽에 반응하고 있다. 앞서 블라디미르 푸틴 러시아 대통령이 러시아가 지원하고 있는 우크라이나 동부 두 지역을 독립 국가로 인정하는 법령에 서명했다.

푸틴 대통령은 "루간스크 인민 공화국(LPR)"과 "도네츠크 인민 공화국(DPR)"을 독립 주권 국가로 인정하는 법령에 서명했다고 발표했다.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he has signed a decree recognizing "the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR)" and "the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR)" as independent and sovereign states.

루간스크 주민들 역시 러시아가 도네츠크와 루간스크 인민공화국의 독립을 인정한 것에 축하하고 있다. 

Lugansk residents also celebrate recognition of independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics by Russia.

한편 돈바스에서 대피한 사람들이 기차역에 보인다. 지난 18일 우크라이나 동부에서 전운이 고조되자 도네츠크와 루간스크 인민 공화국 지도자들은 민간인들에게 러시아로 대피할 것을 발표했다.

러시아 비상사태부에 따르면 지난 18일 이후 도네츠크와 루간스크 주민 6만 1천명이 러시아에 도착했다.

According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, 61 thousand residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics have arrived in Russia since February 18.
